Fee Options

Making a Complaint to the Financial Services and Pension Ombudsman (FSPO)

Firstly, I advise you that a consumer can make a complaint to the FSPO at no cost.  However, you should be aware that the FSPO only mediates and investigates the complaint and does not advise or help the consumer in any way.  In fact it is adamant in its guidance that it must be equally fair to both parties. 

Our Fee Structure

We offer a number of options as follows:

Full Service Complaint

A complete review of your mortgage and the construction of a complaint to the service provider and/or the current loan owner.  This includes the calculation of appropriate compensation. After the service provider issues the Final Response Letter (FRL) to the complaint, we then construct a complaint to the FSPO.  We will then argue your case through the FSPO process.  The cost for this service is an initial fee of €99 (including VAT) and a final fee based upon a percentage of any compensation or value granted to you by the FSPO.  Please see our Terms of Business on the website at https://misselling.ie/terms-of-business/ for the detail of this offer.

Bankers Opinion

We review your mortgage and prepare a banker’s expert opinion on the position.  You can then use this opinion to make a complaint to the original service provider and/or the current loan owner or as a defence in any possession orders in progress.  The fee for this banker’s opinion is €500.
